STEEL PROJECT SPOTLIGHT
AG COM located in New Oxford, PA was staple project for our steel and precast services. Our precast division and our steel division worked closely with our sister Company Conewago Enterprises to fabricate and erect precast panels as well as structural steel for Ag Com’s silos. This project general contracted by The Ken Bratney Company was challenging but even more rewarding for our steel division. Challenges such as small jobsite space and lack of space for erection were overcome through the hard work of our team working together with all trades on the jobsite.
Enter CarbonCure™ Technology injects a precise dose of carbon dioxide (CO2) recycled from an industrial emitter into concrete during mixing. Once introduced to the mix, the CO2 chemically converts into a nano-scale calcium carbonate mineral and becomes permanently embedded in the concrete.
